The "2025 University and Vocational Colleges Diverse Admission Expo" kicked off on the 1st of March in Taipei and Kaohsiung simultaneously. The Ministry of National Defense (MND) organized a "Military Academy Zone" alongside various universities and colleges, attracting young students and parents seeking higher education information and showcasing the popularity of military academies.

The Taipei and Kaohsiung events were held respectively at the National Taiwan University Sports Center and the 10th floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Zuoying Store. Participating institutions included the Army, Navy, and Air Force Academies, the National Defense University (College of Science and Engineering, College of Management, College of Political Warfare), the National Defense Medical Center, the Air Force Academy of Aviation Technology, and the Army Specialist School. Military academy students were selected to share their study experiences and department-related information on-site. Recruitment officers from the North and South Talent Recruitment Centers were also present, offering detailed information about the application process for various military programs.

In his opening speech, Rear Admiral Liu, the President of the Naval Academy, emphasized that talent development is crucial in any industry. The Ministry of National Defense has been actively procuring and updating weapons and equipment in recent years, while also requiring more high-quality personnel to join the military. He encouraged the parents and students present to visit the Military Academy Zone, engage in discussions, learn about the life and future planning at military academies, and expressed hope that many would join the military as the new generation of outstanding officers and non-commissioned officers to safeguard national security.
