The Naval Academy Dragon Boat Team participated in the "2026 National Light Boat Sprint Championship and 2026 Fitness Factory Grand Harbor Dragon Boat Championship." Over three days of competition, the naval academy athletes transformed their rigorous daily physical training into explosive power on the water, decisively winning the championship in the "University Mixed Group" final yesterday, fully demonstrating the outstanding results of their diligent training and high morale.

This competition was held at the Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung City, bringing together top athletes from elementary to university levels, including open teams, senior teams, and international teams. The Naval Academy Dragon Boat Team competed in both the "University Mixed Group" and "Open Group" events, refining and adjusting their skills for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival competition.

During the competition, the naval academy members displayed excellent teamwork and precise paddling rhythm. Whether facing equally matched college students or experienced and strong opponents in the open category, the cadets showed no fear, upholding the tenacity of "never giving up" and achieving a perfect balance between speed and boat stability. In addition to winning the championship in the "College Mixed Group," the naval academy dragon boat team also achieved commendable results in the highly competitive "Open Group," with 33 strong teams participating, securing 8th and 17th place respectively, demonstrating the cadets' robust physique.
