National Sun Yat-sen University and the Naval Academy collaborated on a concert titled "Hearing the Sound of the Ocean." The "Music Descends the Mountain: Hearing the Sound of the Ocean" lawn concert, hosted by National Sun Yat-sen University, featured performances by the university's band (under the direction of Professor Lin Hung-Chun), the Naval Academy's band, and vocalist Ms. Li Yung-En. Accompanied by nature and the sea breeze, the concert offered the audience a captivating musical feast.

The concert, themed "Ocean," featured renowned classical pieces and folk songs performed by the bands from both universities. Lieutenant Chen, the Naval Academy's superintendent of instruction, made his debut as conductor, becoming the focus of attention and showcasing the university's profound musical heritage and its balanced approach to both academic and military arts.
