Organizational Structure
The Center for Marine Humanities Research is established using a task-oriented organizational structure and operates under the auspices of the General Education Center of the university.
Location
The center is temporarily located in Room E303 on the third floor of the university library.
Research Directions
With a focus on maritime culture and in conjunction with the characteristics of the navy, the center pursues the following research directions:
1.Maritime culture, maritime literature, and naval literature.
2.Marine ecology, maritime economy, and maritime trade.
3.Naval history, maritime warfare past and present, naval strategic thought.
4.Ancient ships and the history of maritime technology development.
Expected Goals
The center aims to become a platform for the exchange of marine humanities resources. Through interdisciplinary and diverse collaborations, it aims to develop distinctive courses that reflect the university's strengths and increase its academic visibility.
